The Volunteers in Medicine Free Health Clinic serves residents of Lebanon County who are uninsured or underinsured.  Over 10,000 people  in Lebanon County who are completely uninsured and thousands more who are underinsured will be helped by Volunteers in Medicine Free Health Clinic.

These people are not on Medicaid or Medicare. They are individuals who may be working two or three jobs, with no healthcare coverage offered by any of their employers.  They may be retired residents who have worked all their lives but have a gap in coverage because they are not yet eligible for Medicare.  These people are our friends, neighbors, relatives and employees.  These people are  the Lebanon Community, the community which the Volunteers in Medicine Free Health Clinic seeks to serve.

Mission:

The Volunteers in Medicine Free Health Clinic will be a volunteer run medical clinic providing primary medical services the working uninsured of Lebanon County.

The clinic will provide a compassionate and nurturing environment for patients, volunteers and staff based on our philosophy that;

1. Healing does not begin with a pill or therapy, but when we greet someone at the door, invite them in, take an interest in their lives and give them the dignity and respect they often get nowhere else, and
2. The greatest healing does not go to the patients that come to receive care, but to the volunteers that come to the Volunteers in Medicine Free Health Clinic to give care.
